Trip to Idaho- Visiting Grandpa Anderson

On Sunday of our trip we went to Kuna to visit Grandpa Anderson. Grandpa is living with Ryan's Aunt and Uncle. It was the first time we had been to their new house. Grandpa had a few close calls recently and we were afraid he might not be around much longer. He looked a lot better than Ryan or I expected. He is just a cute old man. Ryan enjoyed talking to Grandpa about his favorite subject, Fishing. Ryan even learned a couple of things we are going to try on our next fishing trip.

It took the girls a while to warm up to him. Lindsey was very grumpy that day and didn't want anything to do with anyone. But after some time Megan was showing Grandpa all the toys she was playing with. Lindsey then copied Megan and also started showing toys to Grandpa. They were very cute with Grandpa and he was a good sport in taking all their toys. Megan had to show Grandpa that she could do a somersault so he called Megan his "Rollie Pollie".

Before it got dark everyone, except me, Lindsey and Uncle Eddie, went berry picking along the river. They seemed to have a good time. Lindsey was so grumpy that I didn't want to take her and it was really cold and I was afriad of her getting sick. After berry picking everyone came back for ice cream and we got ready to leave.

On our way back to Mom's house we stops at Dad's house to visit for a little bit and tell him bye. Again it was a really late night and we got back to Mom's about 2am.
